VOORHEES, N.J. (CBS) – Eight families have been displaced after a fire swept through an apartment building in Camden County early Tuesday morning.

The fire started at about 5 a.m. at the Echelon Glen Apartments in the 1800 block of Roberts Way in Voorhees, New Jersey.

The fire reached two alarms before firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control. A fire official says the fire started on a deck of an apartment and spread to adjoining buildings.

There were no reports of any injuries. Authorities say eight families have been temporarily displaced as a result of the fire.
