PHILADELPHIA (CBS) –The Mann Center for the Performing Arts hosts the Philadelphia Orchestra’s celebration of award-winning composer John Williams on July 20th. Mann Center President and CEO Catherine Cahill says it’s music you’ll know.

“’Star Wars,’ or ‘Superman,’ or ‘Schindler’s List,’ or you name it, the list goes on and on. We are going to be showcasing the best of John Williams to salute America’s most famous movie man on his 80th birthday celebration,” Cahill explains.
Then, on the 21st, there will be fireworks and music as the Philadelphia Orchestra plays such classical favorites as ‘Flight of the Bumblebee,’ Mendelssohn’s ‘Wedding March’ and ‘America the Beautiful.’
“It will be a lot of fun–one for the family. You’ll have a lot of great surprises that night,” says Cahill.
