PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – CBS 3 Meteorologist Kathy Orr broadcasts live from Cape May, New Jersey.

The Victorian-style shore town is celebrating its new Convention Hall and its first summer season of entertainment in the 20,000 square foot facility.

The Convention Hall sits on Cape May’s picturesque beachfront in the center of the historic district.

From the new Convention Hall to a decades old tradition, children on the beach heard story-telling by an actor from the East Lynne Theater.
Actors from the theater read the classics every Thursday at different venues around town, and they’ve been doing it for 23 years.
