PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Eleven-year-old Skylar loves singing hip-hop and soul like her idol, Adele.
(Skylar, singing:) “And he could change the world…”
She takes lessons and sings in her school group.
She’d love to share her talents with a permanent family.
“I would give back love and affection,” she adds.
Gloria Hochman of the National Adoption Center, based in Philadelphia, says Skylar — wise beyond her years — has one wish:
“What she says is — and she tells her social worker this every day — ‘I just want to find a family who will love me.’ Maybe you can be that family.”
