Police Searching For Northeast Philadelphia Robbery Suspect

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A suspect is wanted in connection to the robbery of a store in Northeast Philadelphia.

A black male walked into the Mobile Trac cell phone store, located at 2643 Germantown Avenue, at about 10:54 a.m. on June 22nd. He then went behind the counter with his right hand is his pocket as if he had a weapon and demanded money.

The suspect stole $300 in cash and left on foot, heading north on Germantown Avenue.

The suspect is described as a 20-25 year old male who is around 5’7” with a full beard. He was wearing a blue Polo brand baseball hat, a blue t-shirt, black or blue shorts and white sneakers.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the East Detective Division at 215-686-3243 or 3244.
