LOS ANGELES (AP) — Police say a Southern California high school coach smoked marijuana during a student outing to a Los Angeles Dodgers game.
Investigators say John F. Kennedy High School assistant baseball coach Pedro Cruz Trujillo smoked pot on the way to and from Dodger Stadium while taking six Granada Hills students to the game on May 18.
A school official overhead students discussing the incident and he notified police.
City News Service says the 24-year-old Trujillo has been booked for investigation of six counts of child endangerment and contributing to the delinquency of minors.
He remains in jail with bail set at $100,000.
