Gloucester Township Man Arrested, Faces Child Porn Charges

By Tim Jimenez

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) - After an investigation involving Homeland Security, a Gloucester Township man was arrested and faces child porn charges. Authorities are warning the public he may have also worked as a babysitter.

Camden County authorities arrested 31-year-old Wayne Drawdy, who now faces charges of having child pornography and the intent to distribute.

Jason Laughlin with the Camden County Prosecutor's office says investigators with Homeland Security's Cyber Crimes Center and local police found disturbing material in Drawdy's home.

"With the search of his computer we were able to find hundreds of images and video and he was charged at that point."

Laughlin says he may have also been a babysitter in the area, for at least one family. And police want to talk to them or anyone who may have had their kids near Drawdy to make sure nothing else inappropriate took place.

"Been operating under the radar for who knows how long, taking in this material and obviously using it. Is good to know he's been identified and is now in the justice system. But it's also troubling to know he's out there to begin with."
