EAST GOSHEN TOWNSHIP, Pa (CBS) — Police say the search for a missing, elderly Chester County woman has ended.

78-year-old Gerry Ann Tilghman, who had been missing since Sunday from her East Goshen Township home, was found safe on Monday night at Pennsylvania Hospital where she was admitted after she suffered a stroke.

Police say Tilghman, who suffers from early-onset dementia, is doing fine and listed in good condition.

Police had posted a missing persons alert after she failed to return home and her car was found illegally parked along South 3rd street in Philadelphia.
