Suspect Arrested In Connection To Cherry Hill Robberies

CHERRY HILL, N. J. (CBS) – Cherry Hill Police have made an arrest in connection to a wave of car robberies near the east end of the city.

After an investigation, police arrested Matthew McGuire, 20, from the 200 block of Morris Drive in Cherry Hill, on Wednesday.

McGuire was arrested after entering a garage on the 1500 block of Randy Drive.

Authorities also report that McGuire confessed to 26 other incidents of theft.

The suspect has been charged with 26 counts of burglary, 22 counts of theft, and one count of possession of burglary tools. He was placed in Camden County Jail without bail.
