OAKLAND, Ca. (CBS) – The Center for Environmental Health found that dozens of accessories bought from leading national retailers contained high levels of lead.
Researchers tested about 300 handbags, purses, wallets, and other accessories from Bay Area outlets and found that many had lead levels that were anywhere from three times to 195 times higher than the agreed upon level.
