Center City Restaurant Offering Unique Cooldown To Its Diners

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – With temperatures expected to reach a sweltering 100-degrees in the next few days, one Center City restaurant has put an alcoholic twist on a childhood favorite.

Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse, located at S 17th and Ionic Streets just off Rittenhouse Square, will be selling booze-infused ice pops this Wednesday and Thursday. The pops come in three flavors—Rose Petal and Prosecco, Watermelon and Mint and Piña Colada—and will be available from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. for just $5 a pop.
