BROOKHAVEN, Pa. (CBS) - A young boy drowned Sunday while swimming in a pool at an apartment complex in Delaware County, according to authorities.
The incident occurred at the Camelot Court apartment complex in the 500 block of West Brookhaven Road.
Authorities say the boy was pulled from the pool around 3:25 p.m. and was taken to Crozer-Chester Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
According to reports, the boy was found at the bottom of the pool.
Authorities say responders administered CPR to the boy from the moment he was taken out of the water.
The Delaware County Medical Examiner’s Office has not been able to confirm the boys age.
Brookhaven Police Chief John Eller was on the scene but could not immediately be reached for comment.
