PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police were at the right place at the right time Thursday morning when an incident took place outside a South Philadelphia convenience store.

A stabbing outside a Pennsport Wawa store along Columbus Boulevard in South Philadelphia around 3 a.m. this morning resulted in a quick arrest by police who were nearby.

The stabbing occurred during a brief confrontation outside the store between two men.

The victim is recovering in good condition at Pennsylvania Hospital.

The suspect is facing a list of charges that include assault and weapons violations.
