MLB Player Poll Says Phillies Fans Are The Most Obnoxious

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Another day, another story about how terrible the fans in Philadelphia are. Someday we should start taking this as a compliment.
In a poll of 100 MLB players conducted by Men's Journal, Philadelphia was "crowned the city with the most obnoxious fans." One player who took the poll mentioned that Philadelphia fans "boo their own players." The poll was conducted to find out who the most hated player in baseball is (A.J. Pierzynski won that honor).
Of course, this comes a day after some fans in Clearwater booed Chase Utley during his final at-bat at his rehab appearance in Clearwater yesterday.
The entire poll will be revealed in the new issue of Men's Journal, set to debut on June 15th. No word on whether snowballs and Santa Claus will be mentioned.
