PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Hispanic Choice Awards will return for the 9th year this October, but anyone wishing to submit a nomination can do so now through June 30th.

The HCA’s, which honor the area’s top Latino professionals, businesses and organizations, will be held at the Kimmel Center on October 16th, 2012. The star-studded event includes a VIP reception, red carpet entrance, ceremony and performances by top Latin musicians as well as appearances from local politicians and business leaders.

The winners will be announced at the event, and will take home titles in seven categories, including “Community Advocate of the Year” and “Business Partner of the Year.”

Over 1,000 people are expected to attend, and the public can submit nominations here.
