Police Seeking Suspect In Robbery Of Philadelphia Bank

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are asking for the public's help to locate the man responsible for robbing the Citizens Bank branch located at 6324 Stenton Avenue Wednesday afternoon.

Police say the robber entered the bank at approximately 2:43 p.m. and presented a threatening demand note to a teller. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect ran out of the bank.

Police describe the robber as a black male in his late 20's or early 30's, 5'9" to 5'11" tall, with a dark complexion, a stocky build and a scruffy mustache and goatee. He was wearing a white v-neck t-shirt and a baseball cap.

He is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Philadelphia Police Department or the FBI at 215-418-4000. There may be a reward for information leading to the robber's capture. Any tipster can remain anonymous.
