PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A beloved local sandwich is in the running for the coveted title of “Best Sandwich in America.”

DiNic’s roast pork sandwich will compete for the Northeast Regional Championship title Wednesday night at 9:30 p.m. on the Travel Channel’s new show, “Adam Richman’s Best Sandwich in America.”

There are 26 other finalists in the running from cities like New York and Pittsburgh, and the winning Northeast sando goes on to the next round.
