BLOG: Save Your Home Informational Sessions In NJ

By Jim Donovan: New Jersey saw 11,037 foreclosures in 2011. Now, as the robo-signing scandal winds down and the foreclosure pipeline opens up, that number is expected to rise.

If you're in danger of losing your home I want you to know about two upcoming events where you may be able to get some help. The folks from Clarifi, the region's leading non-profit credit counseling agency, is teaming up with the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders to hold two free Save Your Home informational sessions.

Thursday, June 7, 6pm – 8pm
Roebling Fireman's Hall
69 Main St, Roebling, NJ 08554

Thursday, June 21, 6pm – 8pm
Delanco Municipal Building
770 Coopertown Rd, Delanco, NJ 08075

Representatives from Clarifi will be present to guide homeowners through the available assistance programs. One such program is New Jersey HomeKeeper, which provides qualified homeowners with an interest-free loan of up to $48,000 so they can continue to pay their mortgage.

Due to limited seating, Clarifi is asking that attendees register in advance by calling 888-657-4920 or visiting www.clarifi.org/home.

If you can't make it to these informational sessions you can also also contact Clarifi and schedule a free appointment with one of their HUD-certified housing counselors. Appointments can be made by calling 888-657-4920.

Clarifi has HUD-certified housing counselors in our viewing areas of New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware.  So be sure to share this information with your friends and family that may be facing tough times.
