Eagles Continue To Practice Hard During Offseason Workouts

By Ed Benkin

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Eagles continued with another day of OTAs (Organized Team Activities) in South Philadelphia on Thursday.

Even though the players are practicing without pads, wide receiver Jeremy Maclin says the competition has been fierce.

"I think it will be interesting to see how this thing comes out," said Maclin. "It's competition. If you're not here for the competition, then get out of the game."

Michael Vick took his share of snaps in the workout.  He believes Maclin is ready for a big season.

"I think this is going to be Jeremy Maclin's best year," Vick said. "He worked tremendously hard during the off-season and has caught a ton of balls over the last four or five days."

The Eagles have another day of OTAs scheduled for Friday, and four more practices are scheduled for next week.
