Delaware State Police Charge 2 Men With Drug Offenses

LEWES, Del. (AP) — Delaware State Police have charged two men with drug offenses after a months-long investigation into drug dealing in Lewes.

Forty-two-year-old John C. Harter of Harrisburg, Pa., and 40-year-old Melvin Reynolds of Lewes are charged with numerous drug and criminal offenses.

Troopers say on Wednesday afternoon, officers went to Reynolds’ home. Officer say Harter tried to empty his pockets of suspect drugs and tried to flee.

Harter and Reynolds were taken into custody.
