Elderly Woman Suffers Minor Injuries During Attempted Robbery In Gladwyne
GLADWYNE, Pa. (CBS) – Police say an elderly woman was robbed at a grocery store in Gladwyne on Tuesday.
According to police, the 90-year-old woman was walking into the Gladwyne Superfresh on Tuesday afternoon when a white female in her 20s grabbed her purse and began struggling with her.
The victim refused to let go of her purse and suffered lacerations on her arms as a result of the straps cutting her.
A white male accomplice allegedly stood by and watched the robbery attempt. Both suspects fled the scene in a silver or gray Honda or Toyota subcompact car on Righters Mill Road.
