PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Crews battled a fire in the Wynnefield section of the city Monday morning.

At about 1 a.m., firefighters responded to Bala Apartments in the 2500 block of North 50th Street where they worked to control a fire on the third floor of the four-story building.

Authorities kicked down the door of one third floor unit and rescued a woman who was reportedly trapped inside. No injuries were reported.

The fire was placed under control a little before 1:30 a.m. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
