27-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot In Chester

CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) – Police are investigating a fatal shooting in Delaware County Monday afternoon.

Chester Police were called out to 21st Street and Edgmont Avenue at about 1 p.m. Upon arrival, police found a 27-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to the torso. The victim, whose identity is being withheld pending family notification, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the alleged shooter was caught on surveillance prior to the victim being shot.
