... in Golfweek on legendary Philadelphia Country Club member Bill Walsh, still going strong at 90.  Walsh is one of the nicest men you'll ever meet, and can still golf his ball.  Bill has shot his age an incredible 352 times.  You'll find the story here...

Philadelphia PGA

Charlie Schuyler of Rehoboth Beach CC won the Section's Connelly Cup - Head Pro Championship yesterday with a 2-under par 69 at Trump National - Philadelphia.

Kudos to Philly Cricket Director of Golf Jim Smith, who aced the 157-yard 2nd hole.  Smith used a 6-iron on the hole, which plays slightly uphill.  Nice shot, Jim.

Nothing But Net...

Speaking of interesting shots, there are two in the "Shots of the Week" from PGATour.com that are "must see" stuff:    the lucky carom Nick Flanagan got off a grandstand which helped him get into a playoff and win the Nationwide Tour event... and Phil Mickelson's recovery shot with a hybrid at the Byron Nelson.  There's an ace tucked into these highlights as well:
