PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - On today’s APP-tastic and outta SITE – Sparrow.

If you’ve tried using Google’s Gmail on your iPhone, you’ve probably gritted your teeth in frustration a few times. The Sparrow app could ease that suffering.

While the search giant’s own app was disappointing, this one lets you view up to 1,000 messages offline, and supports priority inboxes and labeling.

It will cost you $3, but if you rely on Gmail to stay connected, it’s money well spent.
