76ers Ready For Game 3 Against Celtics

By Paul Kurtz

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The Wells Fargo Center will be rockin' tonight when the 76ers take the floor for game three of their playoff series with Boston.

Tickets are still available but Sixers spokesman Mike Preston expects a sellout by game time. He also expects the arena to be loud and colorful.

"We are going to give every fan in attendance a red 'Passionate, Intense, Proud' 76ers tee-shirt and also a rally towel that basically celebrates the rivalry between the Sixers and Celtics."

These are high times for the Sixers and their success-starved fans. After all, they haven't been to the second round of the playoffs since 2003 and they are playing their oldest rival.

Tom Lamaine watched many a Sixers-Celtics playoff game as part of the broadcast team in the 1970's and 80's. Tonight he'll be courtside again as the team's public address announcer.

"You know, I try to get pumped up before every game and this team has given you every reason to be. You just follow this team along and a bunch of young guys really presenting Philadelphia sports fans with a really bright future."
