PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A suspected drunk driver was arrested after leading police on a chase in Philadelphia early Monday morning.

Police say they attempted to pull the driver over at about 12:30 a.m. at 59th and Addison Streets on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Investigators say the suspect signaled as if he was going to pull over, but he stopped the car and ran away on foot.

Officers gave chase and eventually apprehended the suspect at 60th and Pine Streets.

The driver is expected to be charged with several offenses, including DUI.
