PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Eight people were sent to area hospitals after a Route 64 SEPTA bus hit a van in Southwest Philadelphia Monday afternoon.
The bus was reportedly traveling east on Grays Ferry Avenue when it struck a van following an attempt to make a left turn onto it Ellsworth Street.
Authorities say three people were transported to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and another five were taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
The conditions of the victims were not immediately released. Police are investigating.
