CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) — Two early morning shootings in Camden have left a city man dead and two other people wounded.
Camden County Prosecutor Warren Faulk says 29-year-old Shaun Carter was found dead in the 700 block of Vine Street after police received reports of shots fired there shortly before 4 a.m. Sunday. Faulk said Carter had suffered a gunshot wound, but further details were not immediately disclosed.
Later Sunday morning, authorities say two people were critically wounded when shots rang out in the area of Liberty Street. Both remained hospitalized late Sunday afternoon, but no further details on the victims or the shooting were disclosed.
Authorities say it does not appear that the shootings were connected.
