Atlantic City Boardwalk Buckles, 2 Taken To Hospital For Evaluation

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (CBS) - Two people were taken to an area hospital for evaluation after the Atlantic City boardwalk buckled Thursday evening.

Atlantic City Police were called out to the boardwalk near Grammercy and Maine avenues at about 4:40 p.m. A passerby reported to authorities the boardwalk looked like it collapsed.

One man reportedly suffered a back injury and was taken to the hospital, along with another man, for evaluation.

The area was closed off due to police activity.
