Suspect Arrested For String Of Robberies In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A Philadelphia man has been arrested for multiple robberies in the city.

Torin Myer, 23, of 3900 Baring Street, first struck the Green Line Cafe on Lancaster Avenue on April 26th at 9:35 p.m. and demanded money from the employees. On April 30th at 4:29 p.m. and again on May 4th at 5:30 p.m., Myer returned and again robbed the Green Line.

On May 6th, Myer struck at the Chipotle at 3925 Walnut Street.

During each robbery, Myer was carrying a handgun. He was captured on surveillance video during the incidents, and on May 8th, a Drexel Police Captain on patrol observed a male that fit the description of the suspect in the surveillance stills. An investigation identified Myer as the suspect responsible for the four robberies.

Torin Myer is charged with robbery and related offenses.
