Pedestrians Struck By Out-Of-Control Car In Camden

CAMDEN, N.J. (CBS) – Two people were hospitalized after being struck by an out-of-control car on a Camden County street early Monday morning.

The accident happened at about 8 a.m. at Morgan Street and S. 8th Street in Camden.

According to authorities, two cars collided, sending both cars onto the sidewalk. Police say two pedestrians who were standing on the corner were struck by the cars.

Both pedestrians were taken to Cooper University Hospital for treatment. Authorities say their injuries are not considered life-threatening.

The crash remains under investigation.
