NEWARK, Del. (CBS) - An 84-year-old doctor was arrested on Friday for unlawful sexual contact with a patient last month, according to authorities in Delaware.

Police say the 35-year-old female patient sought medical attention at Pierre Leroy’s office in the 200 block of East Main Street in Newark on April 12.

During a medical examination, police say Leroy made unlawful sexual contact with the victim who then reported the incident to police on April 16th. At that time, detectives began an investigation in coordination with the Attorney General’s Office and the Division of Professional Regulations.

Following the investigation, Leroy was arrested for five counts of unlawful sexual contact. He was released after posting bail.
