CLAYMONT, Del. (CBS) – New Castle County Police are investigating a carjacking that happened in the Bnai Brith House Condominiums located on the 8000 block of Society Drive in Claymont.

On Tuesday, May 1st around 7:34 p.m., police and emergency personnel from the Brandywine Hundred Fire Company responded to the aforementioned area for a reported carjacking. The victim, a 57-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment.

The vehicle taken was a gray 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser with Delaware registration PC207913 and the suspect is described as a black male, about 6’2” and 300 lbs, who had a large build and was wearing a dark colored hat and shirt with white shorts and white shoes.
