Suspect Sought In Armed Robbery Of North Philadelphia Dunkin' Donuts

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are searching for an armed suspect who robbed a donut shop earlier this week.

The robbery happened at about 12:10 a.m. on April 30th at the Dunkin' Donuts located in the 3200 block of North Broad Street in North Philadelphia.

According to investigators, the suspect handed an employee a threatening demand note and pulled out a handgun demanding all of the money.

The employee opened the cash register and gave the suspect $150 in cash. The suspect then ran out of the store south on Broad Street.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 23-28 years-of-age, 6'0", and 170-190 lbs. He was wearing a gray-hooded sweatshirt and dark pants with double stripes on the side.
