BRIDGEVILLE, Del. (CBS) - Delaware State Police are investigating a home invasion that happened late Saturday night.
The incident happened at about 11:40 at a home in the 20000 block of Booker T. Washington Street in Bridgeville.
Police say the resident was asleep when he heard a loud noise coming from the front of his home. When he went to see what was happening, he saw two men who entered the home by kicking in the front door, according to police.
The suspects fled on foot after coming into contact with the resident. Police say the resident chased the men until he lost sight of them near Coverdale Road.
Authorities say nothing in the home was removed and there were no injuries.
