PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Brian Dawkins will retire as a member of the Philadelphie Eagles.
Dawkins will sign a one-day contract with the team within the next week, confirms 94WIP’s Howard Eskin. The team will honor Dawkins in a ceremony on September 30th before their game against the New York Giants.
Dawkins announced his retirement Monday, after 16 NFL seasons, 13 spent with the Eagles.
