Sarah Miles, She's A Little Bit Country But A Whole Lot Of Jersey

By Melony Roy

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Princeton native Sarah Miles returns to Philadelphia at Live From Loews Thursday April 26th.

Sarah Miles comes from a musical family and has been singing since she was 5-years-old. She was the youngest child ever to be admitted to the prestigious Westminster Conservatory Children's Choir and began writing songs when she was in high school. After many choirs and two a cappella groups she picked up the guitar and took to stage on her own.

Her sound has evolved over time from pop to country after spending some time writing in Nashville. She credits a new producer on helping her find her sound which is more indie-pop.

Sarah has been living in New York City for the past year and is currently in pre-production for a full length CD due out in early 2013.
