By Dray Clark, Al Novack, Steve Beck

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are investigating the shooting death of a man early Friday they say began with a luring phone call.

The deadly shooting happened at about 12:30 a.m. at an apartment complex in the 7000 block of N. 15th Street in the city's West Oak Lane section.

According to investigators, the incident began when the unidentified victim received a phone call on his cell phone.

As the victim left his apartment, he was confronted by two suspects in the apartment's vestibule and an argument ensued.

Investigators say the suspects then shot the victim four times in the chest and once in the arm and fled the scene.

The victim was rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators believe the victim may have known his killers because of the initial luring phone call.

The suspects remain on the loose and a motive in the deadly shooting remains under investigation.
