PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Firefighters battled a blaze that broke out inside a recycling facility in South Philadelphia Thursday morning.

The fire started at about 11 a.m. at the TRC Inc. (Transfer & Recycling Center) located at 2904 S. Delaware Avenue.

Authorities say businesses in the area were evacuated as a precaution. In addition, authorities said it was not believed that smoke from the fire was toxic.

There were no reports of any injuries.

Smoke could be seen in South Jersey and traffic on I-95 and the Walt Whitman Bridge was slightly impacted.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
