Flyers Go For Sweep Of Pens in Game 4

By Matt Leon

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – South Philadelphia should be electric tonight as the Flyers go for a four-game sweep of the Penguins in their Eastern Conference quarterfinal playoff series.

Flyers have had their way so far in this series, scoring twenty goals in the first three games - including 8 each in Games #2 and #3.

The Penguins will be without three key players.  Forwards Arron Asham, James Neal and Craig Adams are all suspended for tonight because of antics pulled in Game #3.  Asham is also suspended for the next three games (if they are necessary).

Kind of lost in the shuffle of the excitement of this 3-0 lead for the Flyers has been some pretty mediocre goaltending from Ilya Bryzgalov.   He has started each of the three games in net and allowed 12 goals.  He has a 3.96 GAA and just an .868 save percentage.

KYW's Matt Leon spoke with the Flyers beat writer for the Philadelphia Inquirer, Sam Carchidi, about how those suspensions will hurt the Penguins and what to expect here in Game #4.
