There’s nothing like the Masters to give us the desire to get out there and whack the ball around, and here are some options whether you want to practice, check out new equipment, or just play.

We’re Talkin’ Practice:

Lori Van Sickle, who now teaches at Radley Run CC, is holding a Short Game Mini-School on Sunday, April 29.  The three-hour session will begin at 2:00pm and will cover Putting (stroke, speed, break, drills & practice strategies)… Chipping technique and strategy… and greenside bunker shots.  The price per student is $175 and you can register or get more info by emailing Lori at
VanSickleGolf@gmail.com.

Bubba Love:  Ping Demo Day

Check out the stuff that Bubba Watson and the other Ping staffers are playing, at an April 20th Demo Day at Makefield Highlands Golf Club in Yardley.  It will run from 3pm to 6pm, and no appointment is necessary.   More info at www.makefieldhighlands.com.

Just Play, Baby:

The GolfNow Deal Caddy is featuring a round at Brandywine including cart and range balls for just $42, good weekdays any time or weekend afternoons.  Click here to access that one….

If you’re more flexible on taking a specific tee time… you can always go here to the GolfNow Hot Deals page for the region… and a quick glance reveals White Clay Creek for $37 (today 11:50a)… Seaview Bay for $35 (today 12:20p)… and Raven’s Claw for $32 (tomorrow, 12:10p).
