1 Injured In Cherry Hill House Fire

CHERRY HILL, N.J. (CBS) – One person was taken to the hospital after being injured in an early morning house fire in Camden County Monday.

The fire started at about midnight inside a home in the 600 block of 3rd Avenue in Cherry Hill.

According to fire officials, the fire started in the garage and quickly spread to the two-story home.

Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control in approximately 30 minutes.

One resident inside the home was transported to Cooper University Hospital to be treated for minor smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
