By Jericka Duncan

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are investigating more tire slashings in Northeast Philadelphia. The latest incident happened on the 1200 block of McKinley Street in Oxford Circle. Authorities say nine vehicles were vandalized over this past weekend.

“I’ve been seeing it on the news; I’ve been following it. I was hoping it would never come to this block,” said April Hutchinson, whose car was spared.

Twenty or thirty years ago the same thing happened in Mayfair.
Possibly the young man is a relation to the previous offenders.

White!! I’ll bet ya didn’t see THAT coming, did ya? LMAO I kind of figured it had to be somebody who fit in easily around the area, walking among all of them unnoticed. He probably lives next door to one of the very people whose tire(s) he slashed, because he got away too quick. And he probably incorporated himself to out there in the midst of everything while the neighbors and law enforcement were all out there on the blocks, watching the investigation first hand, marveling at his handy work. I hope they catch him. People don’t have the money to keep replacing tires and having their cars painted.
