You may recognize my name as an Anchor or Reporter on KYW Newsradio, but my most important job is being Christian and Caitlin's Mom. I'm honored to take part in this blog which I hope will comfort you on those tough days that every mother has, produce a wry, "been there, done that!" response. Most of all, I hope to provide support and acknowledgement to ALL working Moms; those who choose to make their children their full time job and those who balance their outside career with family responsibilities.

The Blog will begin by explaining my path to Motherhood, which was at first difficult, but filled with some wonderful twists and turns! I'll share my experiences as a single, working Mom who has dealt with adoption, divorce, significant medical crisis' with my children, bullying and self esteem issues, changing schools, selecting summer camps and balancing work assignments with school events. I'll also talk about how I fostered the closeness my children share and so much more. I do this in the hope it can help one of you, but I want ALL of you to know how much I respect the hard work each of YOU do every day ... and I hope you'll chime in and share your experiences too!

By the way,  Christian promises to share what 12 year olds everywhere want to hear from their Mom. Here's a hint, NEVER tell them to clean their room! LOL! I think we're all in for it! I love my children so very much, as I know you love yours and I wish you all the joy that I feel every time I look at my two. Now, let's share and learn from one another!
