PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Some reaction from across the country to the Eagles trade for linebacker DeMeco Ryans:
Ryans’ “leadership is what will be missed most,” says State Of The Texans.
“Any way you slice it, this seems to be a very good deal for the Ealges,” says Bleeding Green Nation.
His “professionalism and leadership can not be over-exaggerated,” says Texans GM Rick Smith.
He “came off the field during passing downs, but he is a really good player,” says the Music City Miracles.
The Eagles are now out of the market for “London Fletcher, David Hawthorne, and Curtis Lofton,” says Hogs Heaven.
The Eagles no longer have to look for a linebacker early in the draft says Birds Fan dot com.
Skinny Post calls it a “huge move” for the Eagles.
The Tiger Report says the “Eagles won” the trade.
The Big Lead says the move “reinforces the Eagles win now mentality,”
