Police Release Surveillance Video Of Oxford Circle Home Invasion, Robbery

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police have released chilling surveillance video of a home invasion and robbery that took place last week in the city's Oxford Circle neighborhood.

According to police, six or seven black males approached a couple after they parked their car in the rear of a home in the 1400 block of McKinley Street.

As the man was exiting his vehicle, a voice yelled at him "don't move or I'll shoot you."

The man was then beaten in the head several times with a handgun and forced to the ground, before being lead into his home.

The suspects were able to make off with about $30,000 in cash and jewelry, along with the homeowner's handgun.

All of the suspects can be seen wearing blue or black hooded sweatshirts and covering their faces with rags.

Police warn that if you see this group of males do not approach them, contact 911 immediately, or submit a tip at 215-686-TIPS (8477).
