Police: Suspects Steal $30K And Gun In Oxford Circle Home Invasion

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are investigating a robbery and home invasion in the city’s Oxford Circle neighborhood on Sunday night.

The incident happened at about 7:15 p.m. in the 1400 block of McKinley Street. Police say a 42-year-old man and his wife were forced out of their car and into their home at gunpoint by six men.

The suspects, who are described as black and in their teens to early twenties, reportedly stole $30,000 and a gun. They remain at large.

Police say the male victim sustained an injury to his head after one of the suspects beat him with the gun. The victim’s wife was not injured.

The investigation continues.
