AC Man Charged With Dealing Drugs Across Street From Public Safety Building

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) — Numerous charges have been filed against an Atlantic City man who allegedly was dealing drugs across the street from the city's public safety building.

Twenty-eight-year-old James Angelozzi was charged with possession of cocaine, heroin and marijuana, possession of those drugs with intent to distribute and various drug distribution counts after police raided his apartment this week.

Twenty-two-year-old Shanice Daniels, who also lived in the apartment, was charged with possession of marijuana and cocaine and possession with intent to distribute.

Authorities say they seized 12 ounces of marijuana, 30 grams of cocaine, 47 bags of heroin and $4,303 in cash at the apartment.

Three alleged customers of Angelozzi's also were arrested on drug possession charges.

It was not known Saturday if either Angelozzi or Daniels has retained a lawyer.
