PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Philadelphia homicide detectives have identified two teenagers who were killed in a hail of gunfire while riding a stolen ATV Monday night near 9th and Cambria Streets in North Philadelphia.
The victims have been identified as 17-year-old Dexter Bowie and 18-year-old Johnathon Stokey.
Bowie and Stokey died of multiple gunshot wounds at Temple University Hospital not long after the 8 p.m. shooting incident.
Police say more than 30 spent shells, all fired from an AK-47 assault rifle, have been recovered.
So far, police have made no arrests and a motive was not immediately known.
The deadly shooting remains under investigation.
